Return & Refund Policy

At CARIN, our foremost priority is ensuring your complete satisfaction with every purchase. In the event that you find yourself less than satisfied for any reason, we offer a formal return and refund process to address your concerns.

Eligibility for Exchange & Return

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the request must be submitted within 14 days of receipt. Items must be shipped back with tags attached, in their original packaging, and in an unused condition with no visible signs of wear.

The following items and circumstances are not eligible for return or exchange:

1) Eyeglasses with optional blue-light lenses.

2) Mirrored sunglasses with minor scratches on lenses (these are inherent characteristics and not considered a defect).

3) Eyeglasses with scratches on demo lenses.
By default, demo lenses made of plastic are included with eyeglass purchases unless otherwise specified on the product page. These lenses feature printed brand logos and lack coating or UV protection, making them unsuitable for everyday use. For proper use, please visit a nearby optical shop for an eye examination and replace the demo lenses with corrective or non-prescription protective lenses as needed.

4) Complimentary cases and promotional gifts included with purchases.
If eyewear is returned, all accompanying items, including gifts, must also be returned.

5) Products damaged or altered due to customer or optician negligence, such as glasses adjusted or damaged during fitting.
To prevent potential issues, carefully review the product’s specifications and consult your optical provider before making any adjustments. Note that eyewear adjustment methods may vary by country. CARIN is not responsible for problems resulting from alterations or modifications. Exceptions may apply in cases of initial defects or discrepancies from advertised details. At CARIN, we ensure all products are shipped with standard frame adjustments for optimal balance and comfort. Due to individual facial differences, the initial fit may not be perfect. This is not considered a defect, and exchanges or refunds are not available for such cases. For personalized fitting services, visit a CARIN store or a nearby optical shop. Please note that some locations may charge a fee for these services.

If any issues with the product are identified upon receipt, exchanges are possible if the same product is in stock. In cases where the item is sold out, a return will be processed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

How to Initiate a Return

You can easily initiate a self-serve return by clicking here or contacting our chatbot for assistance. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (KST). If you reach our chatbot outside of these hours, please provide your email address, and we'll get back to you promptly.

If you encounter any issues with the product upon receipt and wish to request a return or an exchange, please provide a detailed description of the problem along with photo evidence of the damage. You can submit this information via our chatbot or email us at cs@carin2014.com.

Return Shipping Fees

If the return is due to a factory defect or an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping fees. However, if you are returning an item because you are not satisfied, we kindly ask that you cover the return shipping costs.

We do not provide prepaid shipping labels. Please arrange shipment back to us using your local provider.

Upon receipt of the returned item, you will receive a full refund for your order.

Refund Period

Once we receive and inspect the returned products, we will process your refund within 1 to 7 business days. Please note that the timing of the refund may vary depending on your financial institution.

Warranty Policy

We stand behind the quality of our products with a 6-month warranty from the date of your purchase. If you encounter any issues with your purchase, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Service team(cs@carin2014.com) for assistance.

During the warranty period, A/S services for damages caused by customer or optician negligence will incur additional charges. To avoid potential issues, please review and share the product’s specific characteristics with your optical provider before making any alterations.

Handling methods may vary by country, and CARIN is not responsible for issues arising from product adjustments. Exceptions apply in cases of initial defects or discrepancies with advertised details. For assistance with such cases, please contact the CARIN Customer Center(cs@carin2014.com) for consultation.

After the warranty period, A/S services may not be available if the product is discontinued or if parts cannot be procured due to the extent of the damage.

Precautions

Eyewear

- Impacts may cause lens detachment or loss of screws, etc.
- Prolonged wearing of eyewear on top of the head or improper use may cause deformation or loosening of the product.
- To prevent rust or discoloration from exposure to seawater, cosmetics, or chemicals, clean the product after use and store it properly.

Lens

- Lenses are consumable items and may be damaged by improper handling.
- Minor scratches on mirror lenses are inherent characteristics and are not considered defects; therefore, exchanges or refunds are not available.
- Prolonged exposure to high temperatures may cause deformation or damage to the lens coating.
- To minimize scratches or other lens damage, store the product in its case with a cleaner.
- Some users may experience dizziness when first wearing the lenses due to their unique characteristics. This is not a manufacturing defect.
