CARIN has teamed up with Copenhagen’s innovative design
studio Aspekt Office to craft a timeless collection inspired by
the minimalist and functional elegance of Northern Europe.

Aspekt Office is a Copenhagen-based design studio founded in 2018 by Hans Toft Hornemann and Terkel Skou Steffensen. Specializing in furniture, product, and interior design, as well as creative direction, the studio’s work blends experimentation with functionality, embracing a holistic approach to design.

In collaboration, CARIN and Aspekt Office aimed to create a
collection that elegantly merges contemporary shapes with iconic
design elements. Drawing inspiration from the graceful flow and
curves of Scandinavian furniture, they crafted a timeless line of
premium-quality glasses that embody both sophistication and simplicity.

Process
Aspekt Office’s first step into eyewear design began with concept sketches and a focus on exploring shapes. Their goal was to precisely capture the shared vision of both brands and bring it to life through the collection.

Moving on to 3D-printed prototypes, Aspekt Office meticulously fine-tuned each detail through countless iterations, capturing the essence of the design. The goal was to create a seamless flow between sharp lines and soft curves, resulting in a refined, contemporary aesthetic.

Aspekt Office’s design philosophy centers on the belief that good design lies in simplicity, focusing on only the essential details. This approach defines the CARIN x Aspekt Office 'Flow In The Moment' collection which tells a story of precision, purpose, and Scandinavian minimalism through thoughtfully crafted elements.
