Peace and quiet for a moment, refreshment from distraction.
You can be totally present with your loved ones.
CARIN's new concept space, Yeongdo Place, is a renovated residential house originally built in 1992, invoking Scandinavian retro style.
Through this space CARIN conveys the Scandinavian values “fika” and “hygge” to create a shared sense of togetherness.
We hope that as you look out upon the ever-changing sea, this comfortable and familiar place will become a cherished memory of time spent with loved ones.
Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden, is a city of culture and art with similar geographical features to the port of Yeongdo, Busan.
In the bustling city of Busan, at CARIN Yeongdo Place you can experience a glimpse of Gothenburg.
Furniture and décor exudes a Northern European artisanal sensibility, the rough texture of brick standing the test of time,
an authentic Scandinavian retro-styled space. In collaboration with Swedish interior designer, Mia Laaksonen,
the CARIN retro exhibition shows the brand’s peaceful gaze in a Swedish residential space.
A modern retro Scandinavian lifestyle experience
Retrofitted furniture pieces and Northern European décor are modernized, creating a comfortable and cozy atmosphere in a young and sensory space. Motifs of Yeongdo’s historic buildings are dotted throughout, while vibrant colors and modest designs provide an ideal Scandinavian environment where you can relax.
The showroom, with arched walls and CARIN’s very own bespoke furniture, evokes the sense that one is in a museum.
Wear your CARIN frames and enjoy the amazing ocean view.
The rooftop boasts panoramic views from Busan to Oryuk Island, where you can admire the port and beautiful sea of Busan.
